Mr. Ahmad Hassan graduated from the University College Lahore (External Programme) with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB Hons.) in 2019. Mr. Ahmad Hassan joined the Lahore office of the Firm as an Associate and has swiftly risen to the rank of Senior Counsel. Presently, Mr. Ahmad Hassan is engaged in numerous infrastructure, water, power, and urban development projects which are, in each case, being implemented under traditional procurement and the public-private partnership regime. In his brief time at the Firm, he has notably contributed in devising complex transactional structures and provided valuable inputs in matters related to, inter alia, the renewable energy regime, the regulatory regime of public-private partnerships, and various contractual matters.
Previously, Mr. Ahmad Hassan served as a law clerk at the Honorable Supreme Court of Pakistan for a period of two years spanning from 2019 – 2021 where he gained a comprehensive knowledge in the fields of civil, criminal, banking, and property law. His notable contributions are in the fields of arbitration, the sugar regime of Pakistan, and the Land Acquisition Act. As a result of his efforts, Mr. Ahmad Hassan’s research and contribution have been acknowledged in three (3) Supreme Court judgments published during his tenure as a Law Clerk. Mr. Ahmad Hassan has proved to be an invaluable asset to the firm and the Firm has benefitted from his research-oriented approach. His primary duties include drafting of opinions, preparing transaction structures, finding solutions to intricate legal problems, and preparing the necessary documentation for the implementation of projects.
